The Lock-Up presents ARTS IN THE YARD – a free contemporary art workshop for kids, every Saturday morning.
Back again for 2024, The Lock Up’s fundraising exhibition COLLECT is your chance to see and invest in work by some of the best artists in the Hunter and beyond.
‘Focus’ showcases separate bodies of work from artists Brigitte Beyer and Nikola Jokanovic in conjunction with our annual fundraiser exhibition, COLLECT.
The Living Room Theatre, in partnership with The Lock-Up, presents a new site-specific performance.

Artist Rebecca Ross will be completing a residency at The Lock-Up to research and develop new work based on the aerial phenomena of the area.
The Lock-Up is pleased to partner with Black Inc Books and Harry Hartog to present the offical book launch of, Crimes of the Cross.
Lacey Bilger will be utilising this residency to further develop her work, Low Level with local dance company Catapult.

Charlotte Haywood will be utilising this residency to create new works and prepare for her upcoming solo exhibition, MNEMONIC VEGETABLES, opening at The Lock-Up in late February.
