$10 General Admission

Live at The Lock-Up presents an evening of experimental short films by UK-based Ukrainian artist, poet and filmmaker Olga Niekrasova, whose work explores memory, displacement, and the emotional landscapes shaped by conflict.
Niekrasova’s films have been presented internationally across galleries, cinemas, and cultural institutions, and are recognised for their ability to navigate complex political and emotional realities through experimental form.
Bringing together a trio of the artist’s award-winning short films—including Shadows, Valise, and Ball of Yarn = Trust—this screening offers an intimate encounter with stories told through rich visual poetry and mixed-media animation.
The evening will conclude with a recorded Q&A with the artist, offering insight into her process, influences, and the personal experiences that shape her practice.
