ABOUT NATHALIE HARTOG-GAUTIER
Nathalie Hartog-Gautier’s work focuses on the voyages of people and the interaction between their new environments and the ecology they bring with them. This allows her to explore the transformation, attachments, and associations, and in particular, the intersection
between place, memory, and identity. Over the past few decades, she has developed projects addressing human connections with the environment, underpinned by her own associations and relationships with the landscapes of France and Australia. Within Hartog-Gautier’s work, she also considers the epochs of discoverers in the past and those of today.
