The air within the Lock-Up contemporary art space resonates with history. Static + Silence communes with this history through the ephemeral medium of sound.  Photographs, moving images and sculpted objects cohabit the gallery spaces with installation sound works, evoking moments in-between stasis and flux, static and silence.

The exhibition includes works by Tim Bruniges, Daniel Crooks, Jack Lanagan Dunbar, Brendan Van Hek and Angelica Mesiti and will feature a performance by Tim Bruniges and Michaela Davies on the opening night.
