COLLECT 2024 /
ARTIST CALL OUT
11:59PM, 15th May – 2nd June, 2024
The Lock-Up’s annual fundraising exhibition, COLLECT, is back for 2024.
Are you an artist based in the Hunter region? The call out for The Lock-Up’s annual fundraiser exhibition, COLLECT is now open!
Last year, an open call out process was introduced to enable us to work with a wider range of artists, and due to the overwhelming success of last year’s call out, we have decided to reintroduce this process for COLLECT 2024. This year’s iteration is expected to host an exciting, diversified line-up, and encourages both established and emerging artists to apply. Curated by The Lock-Up’s 2024 Young and Emerging Curator, Isabel Whittle.

Applications close Midnight, Sunday 2 June 2024.
ABOUT COLLECT
COLLECT is The Lock-Up’s annual fundraising exhibition, which proudly showcases over a hundred artists from Newcastle & the Hunter, with 40% of all sales facilitating The Lock-Up’s artistic program and the remaining 60% returned to the artist.
The Lock-Up is committed to presenting the best of contemporary art in Newcastle, and we hope to mirror this commitment in our selection of artists.
COLLECT is a celebration of our diverse creative community – it’s our way of supporting and connecting with our local community of artists, by introducing them to Collectors big and small.
COLLECT 2024 will run 13 July – 8 September.
