Join us as composer Hayden Moon and artist Nikola Jokanovic present A CREEK CUT THROUGH ME, a new experimental art film named after Moon’s four-track EP, with visuals by Jokanovic.
Jokanovic’s moving images accompany Moon’s contemplative ambient pieces follow closely in tone and are born of a similar practice, approach and philosophy. Mimicking the electronic manipulation of natural field recordings in Moon’s soundtrack, Jokanovic’s work reflects the natural world intersecting with effigies of encroaching suburbia and the distant city, diffusing and re-synthesising new visions.
As a suite of four main visual components, the film will track a movement from domestic spaces to dreamier landscapes of lush forest and running water, from dusk through to night.
