A collective of contemporary dancers, choreographers, artists, composers and filmmakers shift the divide between performance and audience.

Bringing live contemporary dance performance to to its core program for the first time, The Lock-Up will partner with Catapult Dance over two evenings to present PROPELLED, featuring collaborations by Australian contemporary choreographers, composers, film-makers and dancers.
Two multidisciplinary dance projects initially developed through Catapult’s Propel Residency Program will be further developed and expanded through The Lock-Up’s spaces to bring experimental contemporary dance into a non-traditional dance setting that shifts the divide between dancer and audience.
The two projects feature collaborations between choreographer and dancer Kristina Chan and filmmaker Neil Mansfield and choreographer and dancer Joshua Thomson and composer and musician Zackari Watt with guest artists Craig Bary and Angelyn Diaz and Omer Astrachan.
