Pony Express: World Building For Weird Times
Pony Express are collaborating on Epoch Wars, a large-scale, immersive project, presented in partnership with New Annual and The Lock-Up
3PM – 4PM, SATURDAY 13 FEBRUARY 2021
New Annual Festival’s Artists-In-Residence Pony Express (Loren Kronemyer and Ian Sinclair) are collaborating on Epoch Wars, a large-scale, immersive project premiering at the second New Annual in November 2021.
Epoch Wars is a live artwork camouflaged as a Festival Of Ideas, where audiences gather to name the Earth’s next geological age. Epoch Wars asks, what is the name of a future worth fighting for?
Join Pony Express as they discuss their past works, share their process of building the world of Epoch Wars, and speak with experimental artists Emma Maye Gibson (Betty Grumble), Dale Collier, BLECK and Tallulah Brown about queer, ecological, socially engaged, collaborative, and time-based ways of making in the era of the ‘Permaweird’.
Please note, this is a free event, and capacity for this space is very limited. Please only register your booking if you are confident you can attend. If your plans change after you book and you are no longer able to attend, please cancel your booking to enable people on the waiting list access. Click here to book.
