The Lock-Up is currently conducting a call out to members from the community to attend a consultation meeting to discuss the exhibition LOUD SKY which will be presented at The Lock-Up in 2022.

The meeting will be facilitated by Curator Rev Dr Rod Pattenden, University of Newcastle sociologist Dr Kath McPhillips and The Lock-Up Artistic Director Courtney Novak followed and will discuss public programming and direct community engagement opportunities.

If you are a survivor or friend or family member of someone who has experienced sexual abuse, or you have been impacted by the Newcastle  hearings of the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse, or if you are a member of the community who has been affected by this issue, we would be grateful to hear your feedback to the creative proposals for this important exhibition.
