LOUD SKY COMMUNITY ARTS WORKSHOPS
31st May – 9th June, 2022
During 2022 a series of art workshops will be offered to link the experience and stories of survivors of institutional child sexual abuse, their families and friends, with the creative possibilities of the arts in the lead up to the LOUD SKY exhibition at The Lock-Up in 2023.
Survivors and community members will have an opportunity to engage this process through a series of art workshops. Art tutors will provide a safe and welcoming environment and no previous art experience is required. Participants may like to exhibit their works in a public exhibition that is planned towards the end of the year at the Wallsend Library.
Please note, only 8 participants per workshop and bookings are essential.
All workshops are free and all materials will be supplied.
