Currently based in Melbourne, Kate Rohde is becoming known to be a rising star on the contemporary Australian art scene. Whilst an Artist in Residence at the Lock-Up she was a guest speaker at Newcastle Region Art Gallery as a precursor to her work exhibited in QUIRKY. Additionally, Kate finalised work ready for a solo exhibition to be held at Karen Woodbury Gallery, Melbourne, and visited Newcastle High School and to speak to the Visual Art students about her art practice.
