“The queer art of failure turns on the impossible, the improbable, the unlikely, and the unremarkable. It quietly loses, and in losing it imagines other goals for life, for love, for art, and for being.”- Jack Halberstam
Join us for a night of future facing conversation as host Kelli-Jean Drinkwater leads a panel discussion of the importance of failure and experimentation in our guests’ art processes. The panel will feature three leading contemporary artists, Brian Fuata, Lex Lindsay and Michelle Gearin who will discuss how failure and risk-taking has shaped their practice.
