Current Artist in Resident, David Capra, continues to explore ‘prophetic art’ – work inspired by divine encounters and ecstatic notions that surpass the rational – as well as investigates the artist as mystic. Capra uses his ‘prophetic and intercessory dance’; improvised, trance-like, purposeful movements said to be inspired by the ‘Sprit of God’ to create his part performance, part installation exhibition.
