Operating as a contemporary art space and inner-city creative hub, this incredible historical building is an arts and culture hot-spot, set within Newcastle’s heritage precinct. Come and grab a drink at the bar before, and during our performance of the bars behind the bars.

Not your average classical music concert, the ASQ’s award-winning Close Quarters concerts are a playground for the curious. With the goal of breaking down perceived barriers to classical music, these accessible concerts last around 60 minutes, and comprise shorter works and movements of transcendent string quartet music, all for around the cost of a night at the movies.
