Bravo Victor is an Australian-based duo comprising of bassist Jonathon Burgess and vocalist Sophie Aked.

Both musicians have a very different approach to music stemming from their vast musical backgrounds; Jono’s in jazz and Sophie’s in classical/pop.

Described as a ‘melting pot’ of these two genres, the sounds of Bravo Victor are a blend of harmonic language and poetry on Sophie’s part and intricate melody and striking original composition on Jono’s.

Since 2015 the pair have been writing music and gigging around the Hunter and Sydney regions. This show at The Lock-Up will be the duos ‘homecoming’ after embarking on a national tour in September.

Bar opens 6pm. Performances begin at 7pm.
