Join us in National Law week for an extended program of panels and facilitated conversations developed in collaboration with the University of Newcastle Law School and presented in conjunction with exhibition justiceINjustice.
Bringing together artists, writers, lawyers, academics, students, families of victims, and those working and interested in areas of social justice, the ART & LAW SYMPOSIUM will explore themes of injustice, marginalisation, personal and professional experience, and how creative responses can create new perspectives and understandings.
This special public program is presented by The Lock-Up, Merridy Elphick Lawyers and the University of Newcastle Law School with the support of The Sydney Institute of Criminology, University of Sydney and the Women Lawyers’ Association of NSW.
