Shan-Turner Carroll and Ryota Sato present a second focussed work in their ongoing creative partnership, working together between Sydney, Australia and Okayama, Japan.

Join artists Peter Gardiner, Damien Linnane and Clare Weeks in conversation with curator Dr Rod Pattenden as they discuss their work featured in the exhibition LOUD SKY.

LOUD SKY is a powerful collaborative exhibition featuring five Hunter-based contemporary artists who have created new works responding to stories of survival. These stories were uncovered through the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse in the Hunter Region in 2016.

 

Presented in partnership with Catapult Dance Hysteria has been developed by Alysha Fewster and Angie Diaz, and featuring choreographer and dancer Jasmin Sheppard and dancer Maddison Fraser.

Alex Golden is The Lock-Up’s COLLECT 2023 Young and Emerging Curator. Alex will be working closely with The Lock-Up’s staff to develop and curate our annual fundraising exhibition.
