The Shaman’s recipe demonstrations lead the audience on a meandering journey through multisensory musings on food, matter and spirit comprising of equal parts comic, mystic, sceptic and apocalyptic.
Shamanic Organic II is a continuation of a project that began in 2012 for the NextWave Festival, Shamanic Organic Contemporary Cuisine.
Returning to this project for The Lock Up in 2015 the artist will create a follow up in the form of performance and installation with the intention of exploring the aesthetic and creative potentials of a select few interpretations of the reality and/or realities we presently find ourselves residing in. By way of a total-holistic approach to food, the Shaman shall perform a quantum molecular gastronomy with added immaterial, mind-manifesting ingredients, as an entree into the hidden interdimensional weirdness of the human palate too often disregarded by todays rational cooking materialists.
