The history, architecture and ambience of The Lock-Up offers a unique opportunity to create a collection of discrete elements that artist Brett McMahon can stretch and play with, each within the parameters of the overarching theme, Hidden Nature.

Stillness allows us to see what’s in-between, notice the nature of objects, sounds, the space that surrounds them and the dark voids within.

In this exhibition McMahon explores sound, video, wall and floor based works as the pieces become the base for setting up an environment of resonance and discovery.
